Graduation

Posted by Sam

So Graduation was on Saturday, and it still doesn't seem real that I'm done with high school, forever. The past four years have flown, and this year was gone in the blink of an eye. I can honestly say though, that I'm glad it's over. I'm ready for the next chapter in life, whatever that may be. I'm ready to be on my own, fulfilling my dreams. I'm so excited to see what the next few years bring to my life. There are so many possibilities and opportunities, so it will be fun to see where life takes me.

Graduation was a lot of fun, and we didn't have a bomb threat, so I'd say it was a success. ;)  The speakers at Graduation challenged us to follow our dreams, leaving behind the securities of life that we know, and to embark on the adventure that we've dreamed of, the one that has been planned for us before we were even born.  Our class motto is ' Security is mostly superstition. It does not exist in nature...Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.'  After reading that quote I realized that life is going to be what I make of it. Each day will only turn out to be as good as I make it. And I want to make the most of everyday, living a life of faith and service, being the girl that God created me to be, going where I am led..even if it takes me away from the ones that I love. So for those of you who actually read this, I hope you choose to make the most of everyday. Don't miss out on your life, you've only got one chance to make it everything you've ever dreamed of.

Dana and I are proud of you, Sam. If you find the courage to follow your particular dreams (the ones God gave you), the world will be a much better place.
Blessings,
AE
